Jim Trelease’s Read-Aloud Handbook (8th Ed) gave a direction to my dream to work for and with youth.

Read Aloud Society is my dream to develop resources for families, schools, and communities to support early childhood and adolescent literacy development.

I am currently pursuing research on how reading aloud can support:

  • Language skills for ESL children
  • Cultural upbringing of immigrant children, and
  • Islamic upbringing of Muslim children.
